The "ARTELLA-OPOLY" Parties for Artella Members, held in March, May, and June, were a tremendous success.
We gave away over 100 prizes at each party. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time!

Here's what people are saying about the party:

Playing Artella-Opoly was like wading into unfamiliar waters, finding friends swimming right alongside and finally diving headfirst into a pool of pure joy. I can't wait to do it again.

~Dawn Richerson

Playing artella-opoly was like playing a boardgame with your favourite cousins...only without all the screaming, cheating and tantrums.

~Christina

ARTELLA-OPOLY was a picture of lines of varying lengths and colours with lots of laughter and fun

~Lisa Ferneau

ARTELLA-OPOLY was like having a donut with the hole still in it! Absolutely full of fun!

~Bill Charlebois

Playing Artella-Opoly was like sitting around a big table with your best friends and laughing and cutting up and playing a wonderful, generous variation of a board game! It's the most fun and it's a great break in the day. I will always make time for the game and the chance to enjoy my cyber-pals and laugh.

~Danno

The ARTELLA-OPOLY party was, to quote Julia Roberts, "The most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off!" Put a bunch of strangers in a chat room and what happens? Silliness (aided and abetted by sound effects. Who knew what hilarity a doorbell sound could cause?), which led to on-the-spot creativity. It was amazingly easy to join the fun of answering questions, making up poems or advertising copy for a ficticious restaurant knowing only the name. Don't hesitate! Just say yes!

~ Kathryn Chandler

ARTELLA-OPLOY was so much fun. And, although the game was fun, it was the company that made the evening. The two hours flew by. Keeping up with the running commentary and watching as Marney tried to ask the game questions was a hoot. As everyone put in their two cents work, or in come cases a least a dime, it sometimes took Marney a whole screen full of chat to get one quesiotn completed. And although some of the questions were quite challenging, there was always somebody ready to help out any player that didn't know the answer. Marney, Zura, and the other sponsors of the game were so generous with the prizes, that even though we only completed one round of the players, everyone came away from the evening with a variety of goodies. Thanks to the gang at Artella for a fun-filled evening.

~ Suzanne Munro

The game was involving in ways I could never have imagined. I was engaged for over two hours with the fun game, the lively banter, the generous gift-bestowing from Marney, and the surprises that awaited us around each corner (specifically the Challenges! yikes!). I loved it and cannot wait until the next game comes up. Fun, fun, fun. Thanks again, Marney.

~ Dan Gremminger

Thanks so much for the game tonight. It really confirmed that Artella is a energetic, creative place to be! I am off to become a full-fledged member. Thanks for allowing me to participate for free in March!

~ Lori

ARTELLA-OPOLY was such a hoot. It was the perfect party...with all your favorite friends...where you can let your hair down. The chat room was so comfortable -- I wanted to move in there! Marney was ever so generous & I won at least 5 gifts (or more) -- I lost count. Every few minutes she was giving away something for everyone. Then, a few minutes later something just for me! Ah, what a feeling!
