Marney's Sunday in the Park Favorites

This is a counted cross-stitch version of the painting, believe it or not. The little stitches really bring the "dot by dot" pointillism to life! The cross-stitch was started by my mother, and then completed by my grandmother. My grandma was a life-long stitcher, and this was the last piece she finished before she passed away a year ago.

This interesting greeting card says "Sunday Afternoon in a Small Room" and I think it's hilarious. That's a hand creeping out from the "small room"!

This is a small rubber stamp...isn't it cute?

This is a photograph of a large mural on the side of a building in downtown New York City.

This is a caricature by Al Hirschfeld, depicting Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin in the Broadway Musical based on the painting, "Sunday in the Park with George"

How cute is this "Sunday In the Park with Big Bird" from a Sesame Street ABC book?

This was from a calendar for handbell enthusiasts. See how figures in the painting are replaced with handbells?

On the left - that's a beautiful necktie with the painting, from Flax Art and Design catalog.

This is a very clever cover of a children's book called "I Want a Dog"

A wonderful Christmas card sent by a friend as an addition to my collection.
