An Interview with Sue Smith
(This interview is continued from the June 22, 2011 Artellagram... )
Artella:
What led you to become a Certified ARTbundance™ Coach?
Sue:
The creative process has always been integral to who I am. In my
healing work, I searched for ways to integrate creativity and spirituality
to offer new pathways to self-discovery for my students and clients. One
day, I happened to look at the website for an artist I had taken online
classes with and discovered that she was an “ARTbundance Coach”. One
of those “AHA” moments, to be sure! I immediately went
to the website, signed up for the email, and here we are.
Artella: In your mind, how are creativity and spirituality related?
Sue:
Creativity and spirituality are intertwined. I have been developing a series
of classes called “Create Your Life”. In these classes,
I teach that we are all the directors of our own movies, the writers of
our own stories, the dancers in this journey of life. Spirit/spirituality,
in whatever way you personally define it, is the life force in our life
journey. The most profound expressions of creativity, no matter the
form, are also expressions of the spirit of its creator.
Artella: How is prosperity related to creativity and spirituality?
Sue:
Prosperity is a manifestation of action and work coming from a place of
love. As the saying goes, "Do what you love, and the money will
follow". Though money is of course a necessity of life, true
prosperity comes from living an authentic life, living a life of love and
compassion. When you are on the right path, the rest follows...
Artella: What kinds of people do you most enjoy working with?
Who is your ideal client?
Sue:
As a nurse, and a holistic energy practitioner, my life's work has been
devoted to helping others heal. My pathway most recently has been
the journey to assist others, and myself in the process, to discover ways
to create the life they want, in living their life purpose. I love being
able to assist clients and students in seeing the world in a new way, through
creativity and spirituality.
Artella:
What does your future hold? What projects are you working on now?
Sue:
The beauty of ARTbundance is the opportunity to use it in such diverse
ways. Presently, I am developing a series of workshops, one called “Create
Your Life”, one based on the principles, and one combining creativity
and spirituality. I am in process of writing a book, and looking
at ways of integrating my photography and art into my healing practice. My
website, and blogs are under redesign as well. ARTbundance has offered
inspiration for new beginnings and new perspectives on the world, beautiful
connections, and phenomenal tools to integrated into all the ways you want
to use them. I will be forever grateful!
