What did participating in Sprites 2006 mean to you?
I loved creating for Becky! My muse was with me every step of the way, connecting me to her, and showing me the perfect elements needed to create the perfect gifts. I have made a new friend, someone that I feel I was meant to connect with. What a joyful experience, creating for what began as a stranger, but now is a friend.

I was just visited by an angel! Glenda Miles...you gifted me with so much more than an overflowing, joyous package of beauty and abundance. The arrival of your fabulous package gave me back my faith in heart exchanges. I had given up, deleted all Sprite messages from my inbox, released any expectation of reciprocation. I was sad and lonesome that no one shared in the joy I had creating for my Sprite-ee, by creating for me. What did participating in Sprites 2006 mean to you?
This was so much fun! Maybe next time we could be forwarded something about the person we will send gifts to (example: age and what kind of crafts they like). I sent some craft supplies for the first gift and it would be nice to know what the person likes.

This has been a most delighful experience..full of anticipation,excitement and great joy...it really got me out my creative rutt...I was amazed at what I received from my SPRITE, it was as if she KNEW me...amazing, the time and energy and work...BLISS!

I love sending out art anonymously and I love receiving someone's art - always a fabulous surprise, like getting extra birthday presents! The anonymity as a sender helps me get over my fear of what someone else will think of my work.

Is there any chance we might receive a list of future exchanges ahead of time, so we could start on the artwork early and maybe even be working on more than one at a time, to be mailed at a later date? I work best when I have more than one project going at a time,and I love to have l-o-t-s of notice so I can think think think. Coming up with an idea is always the hardest part for me.

This is Julie in West Virginia and I must have one of the best sprites out there! She sent me a very twisted tree made of ceramic clay and fired with a beautiful blue green glaze. The tree is twisted and gnarled so if I wanted I could use it to hang rings or other fairy offerings from it's branches... I just can't sing her praises enough! She is great! I have to get a note in the mail to her to let her know... no email address.. If you read thgis thanks so much and look for snail mail from me.

It helped me to let go of my "art-shy" I never think anything is as good as what others do and so this was a difficult exercise for me. All my life -oooo-64 big years- I have been a wanna-be. This participation was great fun. marge

Oddly, it give a POINT to art - that is - the sharing of it makes is more interesting to make in the first place. When you know someone else is going to receive it, there's all kinds of extra special mojo that goes into it. :)

My Sprite sent me an amazing mix CD- I've listened to it over and over in my studio while working. And the beautiful journal is quickly becoming full of gardening smiles! Everytime I use it I find a new little creative touch that she added-it's just lovely.

A great surprise when my gift arrived earlier than I had expected. I have just moved to a new town and haven't particpated in many swaps lately, so I really enjoyed having a fun surprise and affirmations appear in my mail box.
